¯ The Fort Frye Board of Education will meet at 5:30 p.m. today at Fort Frye High School in the Cadet College and Career Center, 420 Fifth St., Beverly.
¯ The regular monthly meeting of the Belpre City School District will be held at 5 p.m. today at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center. This meeting is a meeting of the Belpre City School District Board of Education in public to conduct the School District's business and is not to be considered a public community meeting. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the agenda.
¯ There will be a OVESC Board Meeting at 6 p.m. today at Lori's Restaurant in Caldwell.
¯ The Policy Committee of the Warren Local Board of Education will meet at 7:30 a.m. today at Warren Administration Office.
¯ The Learning, Instruction and Assessment Committee of the Warren Local Board of Education will meet at 4 p.m. Monday at Warren High School Auditorium (located in the Warrior Annex), 130 Warrior Dr., Vincent.

¯ Area 15 Council of Governments, Boards of County Commissioners from Monroe, Morgan, Noble, and Washington Counties will meet with the Area 15 Workforce Development Board- Personnel Committee at 1 p.m. Monday at Noble County Department of Job & Family Services, 46049 Marietta Road, Caldwell.
¯ The Belpre Township Trustees will reschedule its regular scheduled meeting to 4:30 p.m. June 12 at 335 Baker Road, Little Hocking. These meetings are open to the public. If you have any questions, contact the Trustees at the township office 740-423-6366.
Events
¯ All ages are welcome at the Paint by Sticker Art Class from 3-5 p.m. on Fridays, May 19 and 26 at the Marietta Branch Library. There are many books to choose from for kids and adults. Pick out the canvas you want to "paint" with its corresponding sticker page. The library provides all materials for different levels and ages. There are also some large "tweezers" to help handle the stickers. This is an open-ended class, so you can come anytime during the hours of 3-5. If you are unable to stay and work on your artwork, you may take home a paint-by-sticker pack. No registration is needed. Questions? Call the Marietta Branch Library at 740-373-1057 x219.

¯ Belpre Historical Society will hold a book sale from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 509 Ridge St., Belpre, behind Belpre Furniture.
¯ Marietta Township's School Reunion will be held Saturday at the Marietta Township Community Building in Reno. Former students of Sand Hill, Reno, Goose Run, Jennings Hill, Cornerville, Barker and Yankeeburg schools are included. Meat, coffee, tea and table service will be provided. Guests are asked to bring a covered dish to share and memorabilia of your school and community. Other guests are welcome. ¯ Boys & Girls Club of Washington County will be hosting a Variety Bingo at 2 p.m. with doors opening at 1 p.m. Sunday at its Marietta site, 307 Lancaster St. The event will feature prizes from Pampered Chef, Alex+Ani and Thirty-one among others. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. The events will also feature concessions, door prizes, pull tabs and a 50/50 raffle. ¯ The Brownsville Church of Christ will have a week of gospel meetings at 7:30 p.m. May 21-26 with Don Wright.
¯ The Literary Ladies Book Club will meet at 4 p.m. May 24 at the Marietta Branch Library. This book club reads cozy, wholesome and inspirational books. ¯ The Institute for Learning in Retirement will hold its annual meeting at 3 p.m. May 25 in the Great Room of Andrews Hall on the Marietta College campus. ¯ St. Paul's Evangelical Church, corner of Fifth and Scammel across from Mound Cemetery in June, will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. June 2 and 8 a.m.-1 p.m. June 3. Proceeds benefit the church. Among items for sale are Christian items, books, pictures, Sunday school supplies and miscellaneous items including toys, kitchen items, household items and timeless treasures. No clothes or large appliances.
¯ Friends of Forgotten Felines, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, will be holding its annual yard sale from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, June 3, at 106 Deer Haven St., Marietta. Also proceeds go towards our Trap, Neuter and Release program and caring for the cats at the fairgrounds.

¯ Washington County Family & Children First's HELP ME GROW Early Intervention and Home Visiting programs will hold a Community Baby Bash for expectant parents and those with infants and toddlers from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. June 3 at the K of C Hall, 312 Franklin Street, Marietta.
¯ The Stanleyville Schools Reunion will be held noon June 3 in the Fearing Township Community Building, 1995 Stanleyville Road. Bring a covered dish for the potluck meal and an item for a raffle. Meat, drinks, plates and silverware will be furnished. A 50/50 drawing will be available.
¯ Beverly and Fort Frye High School Alumni Banquet will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, June 10 at Fort Frye High School. Social hour begins at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria and meal will begin at 6 p.m. in the high school gym. Tickets are $25 per person and the deadline is June 1. ¯ The 1955 graduating class of Marietta High School will meet 11:30 a.m. the second Wednesday of the month at the Harmar Tavern until further notice for the monthly luncheon gathering. All classmates and friends are welcome.
¯ Christ United Methodist Church, 301 Wooster St., Marietta, will offer a free takeout meal from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. the first Friday of the month. All are welcome.
¯ Gilman United Methodist Church offers worship at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Come early to join the adult Sunday school class at 9:15 a.m. Coffee, light refreshments and good fellowship at "Coffee Time" held at 9:30 a.m. every Sunday, at 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta. A weekly adult Bible study with Pastor Doug Thompson is also offered at 10 a.m. Wednesdays and 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome.

¯ The Alzheimer's Association offers professionally led groups for caregivers, individuals living with Alzheimer's and others dealing with the disease of dementia. All support groups are facilitated by trained individuals. Meetings in the area include: Marietta Support Group, from 10-11:30 a.m. first Friday of the month at the O'Neill Center, 333 Fourth St., Marietta; facilitator: Krissy Kearns, 937-974-2387. Belpre Chamber of Commerce from 1-2:40 p.m. second Monday of the month at 713 Park Drive, Belpre; facilitator: Susie Casto.
¯ The O'Neill Center will hold chair volleyball at 9 a.m. Wednesdays, except the second Wednesday of the month.
¯ Mani/pedis with appointments starting at 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. every second and fourth Tuesday of the month. Cost is $16 for manicure and $33 for pedicure. Call the O'Neill Center for appointments.
¯ TOPS 399, Marietta, meets 6 p.m. Tuesdays at the First Church of the Nazarene to help members lose weight by group support to a goal set by each member's physician. Weigh-in is between 5:30 and 6 p.m. Visitors are welcome, and the first meeting is free. Call Cindy at 740-629-2957 for details. TOPS Club Inc. is a nonprofit, weight-loss support and wellness education organization in the United States and Canada. Members learn about nutrition, portion control, motivation, food planning and exercise at weekly meetings.
Classes/Workshops/Programs/Seminars
¯ Zumba classes will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m. Monday at the O'Neill Center. The cost is $5 per class or $25 for six classes. All ages welcome. For more information, call 740-373-3914.
¯ The O'Neill Center in Marietta will host bingo at 9:30 a.m. Thursday mornings. No cost at the door to play 20 games, and it is a nickel per card per game. Seating is limited.
¯ Weekly ballroom dancing classes will be 7-10 p.m. the second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at Miller Prosthetics, 2311 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg. Casual dress, $5 per person donation, singles and couples welcome.
¯ The O'Neill Center will have a free gentle yoga class at 10 a.m. every Tuesday.
