Feline frenzy, half-priced adoptions

(Photo by Nancy Taylor) HSOV Volunteer Melinda Hartz holds 5-year-old Kitty Kat, whose owner passed away. She is spayed and needs to be in a one-cat home, Hartz said. HSOV volunteer Jennie Sherrard said that counting the Humane Society shelter, foster homes and the We Lov Pets site, there are more than 300 dogs and cats that need homes right now.
(Photo by Nancy Taylor) Chalupa (or is it his twin brother?) stops his hair mangling project on Humane Society of Ohio Valley volunteer Angel Grosklos so that he can give the camera his full attention. The little Tabby twerp is about six weeks old and is, of course, available for adoption. He and a number of other cats made an appearance Saturday at We Lov Pets for the purpose of convincing humans they should take them home. Immediately.

Starting at $2.99/week.
