Ohio Valley Opry performances Saturday

The Ohio Valley Opry is excited to announce that country music star Linda Davis will be making her second appearance on the show Saturday night at 6 p.m.

Labeled a 'song stylist,' Davis' unique ability to interpret a song has made her one of Nashville's favorite vocalists. As her talents began to catch the attention of label executives, she landed her first record deal with CBS/ Epic Records.

Davis quickly gained a legion of friends and fans in the music industry, one being superstar Reba McEntire. Their mutual respect led them into the studio together where they recorded a duet entitled Does He Love You that went on to become a #1 hit and earn both artists several awards including a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Collaboration.

Carrying on the tradition, Linda and her husband Lang Scott are the parents of Hillary Scott of Lady Antebellum. Along with the help of producer, Ricky Skaggs, the Lang Family recorded a fantastic album, entitled Love Remains. From that album they received a Grammy Award for the best contemporary Christian music song for "Thy Will", adding to the long list of awards Linda Davis has received including:

The OVO makes their home on the stage of the Twin City Opera House in historic downtown McConnelsville. Their monthly shows feature local, regional, and national talent with a family-friendly vibe in one of the only surviving first floor entry Opera Houses in Ohio.

Also appearing will be newcomer and graduate from Fort Frye High School, Brayden Booth, along with Eli Clark, Matt Coleman, Mike Morrison, The Clark Family with their son David Clark and daughter, Ellie Gault. The staff band consists of Marvin Clark, Gary Sigler, Andrew Ruggles, Deana Clark, and Bryant Sigler. Special guest steel guitarist David Spires from Zanesville will be appearing as well.
