Fish Fry Friday
¯ Beverly American Legion Post 389, Fifth Street, fish fry Friday. Meal served from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. today and includes fries and Cole slaw, $12. Music to follow from 7-10 p.m.
Ice Cream Socials
¯ The Lowell-Adams Fire Department will hold an ice cream social at 4 p.m. July 15 on Buell Island. Food, ice cream, bingo, kids activities, gun raffles, country store and a live auction will be available. New this year is a car and truck show open to all makes and models and free entry. Bring cash or checks. To donate to country store or auction, call 740-984-2412 or drop off Thursday evenings at 7 p.m. at firehouse.
¯ Belmont County Victorian Mansion Museum will hold an Ice Cream Social from noon-4 p.m on July 30. Ice cream from Hudson's Homemade Ice Cream, hot dogs, chips and drinks will be served for a donation. For more information and upcoming events, go to belmontcountymuseum.com.
Vacation Bible Schools

¯ Pioneer Presbyterian Church will be holding a STELLAR Vacation Bible School from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m, July 31-Aug. 4 at 873 Farson St., Belpre. We are planning an out-of-this-world adventure. Community Pool Party
¯ A free community pool party will be held 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July19 at Belpre City Pool. The event will include a farmers market for youth, games and prizes. The party is hosted by Belpre Heights Church, The Right Path and Wendy's. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Beverly-Waterford Homecoming Weekend
¯ The Annual Beverly-Waterford Homecoming will be held July 20-22. Gates open at 6 p.m. each night. The parade is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. July 20, with entertainment, carnival rides, food, games and raffles each night. Garden tractor pull Friday and King of the asphalt pull Saturday.
Coin Show
¯ The Parkersburg Coin Club is hosting a Coin Show on July 22 at the Lion's Club in Boaz. Hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The Boaz Lion's Club is located at 315 Valley Manor Lane (off Rt. 14) in Boaz.
