Meeting Notices
¯ The OneOhio Region 12 Committee will meet on at 10 a.m. Friday at the Noble County Health Department at 44069 Marietta Road Caldwell. The purpose of this meeting is to advance the process of developing scoring criteria for Region 12. The OneOhio Region 12 president will also give a presentation on both effective and absent resources in the battle against opioid addiction. ¯ The Operations Committee of the Warren Local Board of Education will meet at 5 p.m. Aug. 24. The August Regular meeting of the Warren Local Board of Education will be held at 6 p.m. Aug. 24. Both meetings are at the Warren Transportation Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent.

Book Club
¯ The Books and Brews Book Club will meet at 6 p.m. Aug. 16 in the bar area in the back of Over the Moon Pub & Pizza, 170 Front St., to discuss "The Winemaker's Wife" by Kristin Harmel. Book Bingo
¯ The Marietta Branch Library will hold Book Bingo at 5 p.m. Aug. 17 at 615 Fifth St. The event features a book-themed game of bingo with the winners being given prizes. This event is for ages 13 and older, and registration is required. To register, stop by the Service Desk on the first floor or call 740-373-1057, ext. 200.
Rummage/Bake Sale
¯ A rummage and bake sale will be held 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Aug. 18 and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 19 at the Belpre Church of the Nazarene, 1301 Putnam Howe Drive.
Craft Event
¯ The Marietta Branch Library is hosting a sunflower-themed craft event at 2 p.m. on August 22. This event is for ages 13+.

Flower and Seed Exchange
¯ Bring One Take One Flower & Seed Exchange. Bring plants at 9 a.m. on August 26. Plant Exchange starts exactly at 10 a.m. Located at Upper Muskingum River Park, 500 Block of Front Street in Marietta. Bring either a plant, seeds or bulbs to share. Please label each so the new owner will know the name, planting instructions, color, bloom seasons, etc. Even houseplants welcome!
Student Free/Reduced Lunch
¯The Washington County Career Center program year's policy for free/reduced lunch for students unable to pay the full price of meals or milk served under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast is available at the High School Office.
