The Washington County Home's second annual combination of highway metal and Halloween treats will be 1-5 p.m. Oct. 28 at the Washington County Home Assisted Living Facility on County House Lane.
Decorated show cars and trucks will be judged by the Home's residents, and awards will be based on their choices. There also will be door prizes awarded to car show participants.
There is no entry fee for the show, but participants are asked to bring candy to hand out. There will be Trunk or Treat and games for the kids, according to Activities and Marketing Director Diana Hill.
Concessions will be provided by VFW Ronnie W. Davis Memorial Post 5108.
"Last year was our very first one, and it was such a huge success that before the day was over, participants were asking us to make it an annual event," she said. "So dress up, decorate your rides, and be prepared to have a day filled with smiles."
