Ohio State Highway Patrol
• Beth E. Maidens, 54, 1042 Sunshine Mountain Road, Williamstown, driving a 2011 Toyota Highlander, was traveling westbound on Ohio 550 in Warren Township on Sept. 15 when she went off the right side of the roadway and struck a concrete culvert and some small trees. Maidens had suspected minor injuries and was taken by the Warren Volunteer Fire Department to Marietta Memorial Hospital. Maidens was charged with driving in marked lanes.
• A 17-year-old Fleming resident was eastbound on County Road 126 in Warren Township on Sept, 15 when he crossed the centerline, traveled back across the roadway and off the right side of the roadway. He struck a ditch and embankment and overturned. No suspected injuries were reported and unsafe speed was a contributing factor according to the patrol report. He was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.
• Amber L. Heskett, 28, 116 Wing St., Newark, driving a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Ohio 676 when she failed to negotiate a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway. She traveled over an embankment, overturned and struck a rock. Heskett had suspected serious injuries and was taken by Medflight to OSU Hospital. Unsafe speed was a contributing factor according to the patrol report. Heskett was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.
• Jaclyn M. Silvus, 32, 1707 Mill Branch Road, Belpre, driving a 2013 Hyundai Elantra was traveling eastbound on Township Road 289 in Belpre on Sept. 17 when she was negotiating a right curve and swerved to avoid a deer. She went off the right side of the roadway and struck a guardrail. After she struck a guardrail, Silvus overcorrected, went off the left side of the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned onto the roadway. No injuries were reported and Silvus was charged with operating a vehicle without being in reasonable control.
• Michele L. Rapuano-Dickinson, 34, 311 Fourth St., Lowell, driving a 2008 Toyota Yaris, was making a left turn southeast onto Main Street from Walnut Street in Lowell on Sept. 17 when her left front tire had a blowout. Rapuano-Dickinson went off the right side of the road, then across and off the left side of the roadway and struck a concrete sidewalk step. No injuries were reported and no charges were listed.
