Fall Sale
¯ The Marietta Friends of the Library will holds its annual Fall Sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. today in the Library Annex, 617 Fifth St. Cost is $2 for a bag of books. The group also will raffle a wall quilt, "My Personal Library." Tickets are $5, and 200 tickets will be sold. The quilt will be on display in the annex during the sale and is on display at the Branch Library. Tickets can be purchased at the Marietta or Lafayette branches. ¯ An Indigenous People's Day celebration will be held from 3-5 p.m today on the front lawn of First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta. This event will be held by the HIP (Honoring Indigenous People) Team.

Hispanic Crafts

Craft Show
¯ Gilman United Methodist Church is hosting its Fall Craft Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. Food and beverages will be available for purchase; and there is parking available beside the church. Representatives of the church, at 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta, say "handmade gifts are always appreciated!"
Poetry Writing
¯A free two-part adult education in poetry writing will be from 3 to 5 pm on Oct. 19 and 26. It will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on 501 Fourth Street in Marietta. Fundraiser
¯ The Zonta Club of the MOV will sponsor its Delicates for Dignity Fundraiser through the end of October to support underprivileged girls and women in the community by providing feminine hygiene products, new bras and underwear. Items will be distributed at food pantries, homeless shelters, domestic violence shelters and middle and high schools. Donations can be mailed to P.O. Box 634, Marietta, OH 45750. Venmo monetary donations can be made to @zontamov. Feminine hygiene products, bra and undies may be dropped off at Advantage Real Estate, 103 Putnam St., Marietta.
