Mary Eunice Busch, known by all her family and friends as Eunice, is celebrating her 100th birthday.
Born on October 23, 1923 to William and Pearl Prine in Elizabeth, WV. She was raised on a farm with her sister Marie and three brothers, Gray, John "Danes", and Donald. She had a younger sister, Wanda, who died at a very young age. Eunice is the only surviving member of the family.
In 1944 she married Harry Donald Busch of Marr, OH. They had two daughters together, Cheryl Busch Means and Donna Busch Shaw. She has many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She has been asked many times what she gives credit to for living a long life and her answer is always the same, "I was raised on a farm and I worked in the fields, or whatever else needed to be done, with my brothers . We didn't have fancy food, but we always had healthy food."
