Sept. 26:
¯ Police responded to the 100 block of Manchester Drive about an air conditioning unit stolen from a house for sale. The theft occurred after July.
Sept. 27:
¯ Police responded to Greene and Acme streets about a vehicle stopped in the road. Police found Dustin Lee McKnight, 38, passed out behind the wheel with a syringe between his legs. McKnight was charged with OVI, driving under suspension and possessing drug abuse instruments. Substances located in the vehicle will be sent to the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for testing. McKnight was released on a personal recognizance bond.
¯ Police were dispatched to Par Mar at 101 Alta St. about a female under the influence of drugs or alcohol. Police cited Livia McCaffrey, 32, with possession of marijuana.
Sept. 29:
¯ Police investigated a complaint of shoplifting at Walmart. A woman failed to scan $270 in merchandise and will receive a court summons for theft.
Oct. 1:
¯ Police investigated a complaint of shoplifting at Walmart. Stephanie D. Gallman, 41, was seen under scanning $132 in merchandise, She was charged with theft.
Oct. 2:
¯ Marietta police began an investigation into a juvenile sexual abuse disclosure.
¯ Around 10 p.m. police were dispatched to Walmart about two female shoplifters. Through investigation, it was determined that Abbigale White and Hayley Cunningham had passed the last point of sale with $376 in items in their purses that were not paid for. As a result, Abbigale Elizabeth White, 24, and Hayley Dawn Cunningham, 26, were charged with theft.
