BELPRE -- Shrivers Pharmacy and Wellness celebrated the official opening of its newest location Sept. 27 with a ribbon-cutting partnering with City of Belpre and Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce.
Located at 812 Farson St. in Belpre across from the Marietta Memorial Hospital Belpre campus.
The site has been open since late August.
The staff strives to serve the total wellness of every customer, store representatives said.
According to co-owner and pharmacist Austin Hilverding, the location has had great support from the City of Belpre, Belpre Area Chamber of Commerce and the local community. Hilverding thanked the building's architectural firm VSWC Architects for its design work and easy process in bringing the building to reality.
Hilverding has said people get a different feel in walking into their business in that it is not a typical retail pharmacy and has more of a sense of wellness about it.
The staff focuses on a holistic approach to the customers' wellness plus offering a review of patients' medications, easy prescription transfer, and vaccinations.
Hilverding emphasizes the pharmacy's program to monitor medications that might cause nutrient depletion and other conditions or interactions.
The business is open 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Friday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday. It is closed on Sunday.
