Fort Frye holding Community Day

2 min read

Fort Frye High School is excited to announce that we are hosting our eighth annual "We are Fort Frye" Community Day on Thursday, December 21st from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. Please accept this letter as your formal invitation to join us! The purpose of this day is to facilitate improved communication between the school and community. We truly believe the old saying, "It takes a village to raise a child."

Tables will be set up where you may display information and talk one-on-one with students grades 9-12 and staff. You may stay for the whole event or for a set amount of time; each group is welcome to choose what works best for them. Doors will open at 8:30 am for participants to set up. Students will circulate through the tables between 9 a.m. and noon by grade levels—Freshmen and Sophomores separately, then combined Juniors and Seniors.

Please contact the Guidance Office at the phone numbers or email addresses listed above if you wish to reserve a table. Tables will be set up on the main floor of the Fort Frye High School gym to provide easy access to all participants. If you do not receive a reply email acknowledging your reservation and/or a welcome packet, please call the Guidance Office to verify that your email was received. It is amazing how many organizations are on the invitation list and have participated over the years. For those who have participated in previous years, thank you! We appreciate all you do for our students, staff, and their families. If you know of another group who would be interested, please feel free to share this information with them. Principal Andy Schob has made service to our community a priority. On May 20, 2024 from 8-11:30 a.m., students will be expected to volunteer as part of the "We Are Fort Frye" Community Service Day. Could your organization use student volunteers? How many students would you be able to most effectively use and in what capacity? Reply to the Guidance Office and we will forward your request to Principal Andy.
