Jeremy Joseph Brown, 42, Parkersburg, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony; and illegal use or possession of drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.
Tobias Gregg, 23, Chesterhill, pandering obscenity involving a minor, seven counts, and pandering sexually oriented matter involving a minor, all felonies; and contempt, failure to appear, a misdemeanor, all out of Morgan County.
Shyla Loria Hammontree, 19, Marietta, violation of a protection order, a misdemeanor.
Brandon Jay'Quan Hamilton, 26, Columbus, aggravated trafficking in drugs and trafficking in fentanyl, both felonies.
Hannah Alyssa James-Rojas, 24, Parkersburg, trafficking in drugs, a felony; and possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.
Andrew Brooks Beaver, 41, Marietta, disrupting public service, a felony; and domestic violence, a misdemeanor.
Michael Leon Thomas, 23, Reynoldsburg, receiving stolen property, trafficking in drugs, breach of recognizance, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs and having weapons while under disability, all felonies; resisting arrest, fugitive from justice and domestic violence, all misdemeanors.

Oct. 9 a Marietta City Police Department officer transported Brian Michael Taylor to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence. Jail personnel responded to the sally port to receive Taylor. While attempting to conduct a medical assessment of Taylor, he pulled back from the nurse/corrections officer, cleared his throat and spit on her. Tucker followed up his actions by stating, "If you needed snot, here you go." Officers escorted Taylor to the receiving hallway and processed him on the charges from the Marietta Police Department. A charge of assault of an employee of a local correctional facility was filed on Taylor, 36, 102 Flintwood Drive, Marietta.
Oct. 12 assistance was given, along with the Devola Volunteer Fire Department Squad, with transporting an individual for medical treatment.
Oct. 12 a report was made of subjects yelling, then gunshots being heard. Nothing could be heard upon arrival in the area. Some types of pops were heard from across the river.
Oct. 13 a deputy responded to a residence in Marietta Township regarding a custody dispute.
Oct. 13 a check was done at a residence where it was reported the animals had no food or water for days.
Oct. 13 a report was received from the Ohio State Highway Patrol of a vehicle going the wrong way on Ohio 7, Belpre Township.
Oct. 14 a report was made of a subject being scammed out of $1,000. Subjects were having the financial institution handle the claim.
Oct. 14 a deputy assisted the Newport VFD, Grandview VFD, New Matamoras Squad and Reno VFD with a subject needing medical attention.
Oct. 14 a deputy assisted the Belpre Police Department on a foot pursuit.
Oct. 14 Deputy Windland along with the Grandview VFD, New Matamoras Squad and the Reno VFD responded to a report of a deceased individual.
Oct. 14 a deputy assisted subjects hiking in Wayne National Forest.

Steven Dallas Oltman, 67, Galloway, theft, a felony.
Alfred Henry Martin III, 37, Coolville, domestic violence, driving under suspension, failure to register, two counts probation violation, all misdemeanors; and disrupting public service, breaking and entering and theft, all felonies.
Michael Ray Atkinson, 42, Coolville, breaking and entering and theft, both felonies.
Victor Woodrow Jones, 45, Athens, breaking and entering and theft, both felonies.
Joseph Franklin Wells Jr., 33, Newport, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Barker Wilson Stanley IV, 43, Marietta, OVI, a misdemeanor.
Jeremy David Richards, 33, Belpre, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
Taja Leah Horner, 38, Parkersburg, aggravated assault, two counts, both felonies; and criminal damaging, a misdemeanor.
Zackeria Jerimia Dailey, 26, Little Hocking, wrong license plate, no operator's license and speed, all misdemeanors.
There are 17 women and 77 men housed in the Washington County Jail.
Oct. 18 Members of the Southeast Major Crimes Task Force conducted a search warrant at the known residence of Jaime Lynn Smearman, 165 Starlite Drive, Lot 26, Marietta Township.
The residence was secured and it was learned that it was occupied by Jaime Smearman and two other individuals. Smearman was advised of her Miranda rights and stated she understood.
Smearman disclosed that there was a black safe box on the counter that contained fentanyl and methamphetamine. Task force members located the box and observed two tied-off baggies of white powder, suspected to be fentanyl, and one tied-off baggie of a crystal-like substance, suspected to be methamphetamine. Also located were two drug scales, a pack of 1×1 baggies, a lighter, spoon and a snort tube.
Smearman also said she had recently received fentanyl and methamphetamine. Smearman said that when the drugs would come to her, she and individuals would cut the product in order to make a larger amount. Smearman said she would then take that product and sell it to individuals coming to her residence.
All items were photographed and collected as evidence to be processed. Smearman was also in possession of 8.76 grams of fentanyl in packaging and 7.30 grams of methamphetamine in packaging.
Jaime Lynn Smearman, 42, 165 Starlite Drive, Lot 26, Marietta, was charged with trafficking in fentanyl, a felony of the third degree, and trafficking in methamphetamine, a felony of the third degree.
Smearman was taken to the Washington County Jail on the above charges and processed. She appeared in Marietta Municipal Court and is being held on $30,000 bond.
Oct. 15 deputies assisted by the Wesley VFD responding to a death in Wesley Township.
Oct. 15 a report was made of two subjects in a shoving match over child custody. Subjects were counseled on their behavior and advised disorderly conduct charges could be possible if the behavior continued.
Oct. 15 a report was made of a goat on a subject's porch. The owner was identified and claimed the animal.
Oct. 15 a report was made of a subject possibly stealing another's keys.
Oct. 15 a request was made to have subjects removed from a residence in Warren Township. Subjects were advised of the eviction process.
Oct. 16 Deputy Aultman was dispatched to 99 Linton Hill Road, Decatur Township, about a report by Mark Dunn that someone broke into his unoccupied garage and removed items. Also reported as stolen were a camper, truck, boat and riding lawn mower. Deputies conducted a neighborhood canvass and were approached by an individual in a truck, who indicated he had seen most of the larger items in plain sight at a residence on Frost Hill Road in Coolville. The residence was identified as belonging to Victor Jones. Deputies and Washington County Sheriff's Office detectives responded to the Frost Hill Road address with the victim, who was able to positively identify, from the roadway, several of his missing items. A vehicle was stopped by deputies when the driver was abruptly turning into the driveway at Frost Hill Road. The driver was identified as Alfred Martin, who was found to have several warrants. Martin denied any involvement in the crime that was being investigated. Located inside the camper, at the Frost Hill Road location, was Michael Atkinson. Atkinson stated he had just gotten to the residence and was cleaning the camper out, waiting on the homeowner to return home. Atkinson was asked about the stolen items and who was involved. Atkinson also denied having any involvement in the crime, stating Martin was the one who had stolen the items and brought them to this location. While speaking with Martin he said about two weeks ago he went to the 99 Linton Hill Road address on two different occasions with Atkinson, and two other men. Martin denied going into the garage and stealing any items. Martin stated the other three were the ones involved in the theft of the items. Martin said Atkinson had been driving the stolen Toyota truck and Jordan had been driving the stolen 4-wheeler. A search warrant was obtained by the Athens County Sheriff's Office for the residence at 6251 Frost Hill Road, Coolville. During the search of the residence, multiple items were located inside and in a shed. Alfred Henry Martin III, 37, 23979 Moyes Road, Coolville, was placed under arrest and charged with theft and breaking and entering. Michael Ray Atkinson, 42, 24761 Brimstone Road, Coolville, was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering. Victor Woodrow Jones, 45, 6251 Frost Hill Road, Coolville, was placed under arrest and charged with breaking and entering and theft.
Oct. 16 a request for extra patrol was made after an individual found some bodily fluids in their mailbox.
Oct. 16 Deputy Norris responded to Lawrence Township to subjects trespassing in the area.
Oct. 17 Sgt. Painter was dispatched to Waterford Township to a private property accident. The driver of the vehicle was reported to be intoxicated. The subject, identified as Barker W. Stanley IV, was asked if he had struck another vehicle in the parking lot, which he denied. He was asked if he drove the vehicle with South Carolina registration, which was involved in the accident, and he stated he had driven it to work that morning. Stanley was observed unsteady on his feet and at one point stumbling into the side of the vehicle. Sgt. Painter noted a prevalent odor of alcoholic beverage on Stanley's person, along with slurred speech and bloodshot, glassy eyes. When asked if he had been drinking, he stated he consumed approximately seven "bootleggers" the evening prior. Stanley, 43, 161 Wells Ave., Marietta, was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail on a charge of operating a vehicle while under the influence.
Oct. 17 Deputy Aultman was dispatched to Sealy Ridge Road, Dunham Township, to a report of Joseph Reynolds trespassing on another's fenced-in hunting area a second time. The property is a pay-to-hunt preserve. It was reported that Reynolds was told multiple times not to return after being caught by trail cameras and personal cell phones while inside the fenced-in area Oct. 10 and on Oct. 17. The complainant said Reynolds has been seen dressed in camouflage and carrying high-powered rifles and a large knife. It was reported that the fence line is inspected weekly as per order by the Department of Natural Resources and has had no damage at any time. Deputy Aultman attempted to meet with Reynolds but was unsuccessful. A summons is being requested for Joseph Robert Reynolds, 70, 1508 Sealy Ridge Road, Vincent, on a charge of trespassing.
Oct. 17 Deputy Young was dispatched to Barnett Ridge Road, Dunham Township, to a report of Alford Wilson assaulting a resident. Deputy Young met with Wilson, who stated he became upset over someone at the residence that was not supposed to be there. Wilson stated he went to tell the subject he had to leave and the door was opened and they began to yell at each other. Wilson stated the other party had put their hands on him. An odor of alcoholic beverage was coming from Wilson's person and he was asked if he had been drinking. Wilson reportedly forced the door open and began yelling at the unwelcomed party. The individual was then in front of Wilson and he placed his hands on the subject twice. Alford D. Wilson, 71, 499 Barnett Ridge Road, Belpre, was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail on a charge of domestic violence.
