The following individual was processed into the Washington County Jail between Oct. 17-19:

Pierre Ledell Cobb, 42, Lawrenceville, Ga., possession of fentanyl and possession of drugs, both felonies.

There are 15 women and 78 men housed in the Washington County Jail.

Members of the Southeastern Ohio Human Trafficking Task Force arrested Kristofer Eye on a warrant issued Oct. 19 for failure to provide notice of residence address change and tampering with records, both third-degree felonies.

Kristofer R. Eye is a convicted sex offender and classified as a pre-Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act sexual predator. Eye has been on the registry, and required to register since 2009.

Taskforce members learned Eye completes quarterly checks regarding his sexual offender registry at the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Civil Division. A review of the documentation, dated Aug. 22, revealed Eye signed a government form acknowledging the noted information and that his sexual offender profile was true and accurate. This signature was witnessed and signed by the deputy assigned to this division.

Eye’s registry profile lists a home address of 10895 Dalzell Road, Apt. A, Lower Salem, and phone numbers 740-934-2582 and 740-516-9530. Also noted is Eye’s employer, Yard Apes Lawncare and Landscaping, and the vehicle he operates as a 2006 Chevrolet Colorado and a 2009 Dodge Grand Caravan.

Oct. 18 Eye was interviewed and the taskforce member learned that Eye has been employed with Am-Tek Oil on/or about June 1. Also noted was that he drives a 2015 Nissan Versa Note, Ohio registration, and was in the State of Louisiana working for two weeks at the end of July/ beginning of August 2023.

Eye claimed he wasn’t sure if he needed to tell anyone if he was going to be out of the state for a few weeks.

A warrant for Kristofer Robertlayne Eye, 39, last known address 10895 Dalzell Road, Apt. A, Lower Salem, was requested and issued through Marietta Municipal Court for the offenses he was later arrested on.

Human Trafficking Task Force members and members of the Washington Court Sheriff’s Office and Washington County Detective Bureau responded to 220 Fay Ave., Marietta, and made contact with Eye Oct. 20. Eye was taken into custody without incident.

Eye is being held at the Washington County Jail on a $30,000 bond.

Oct. 18 a deputy assisted a subject who had struck a deer at Farson Street and Ohio 7.

Oct. 18 a deputy met with subjects in reference to litter on their property. The subject was contacted and advised to clean up the area.

Oct. 18 a welfare check was completed on a subject believed to be planning to harm themselves.

Oct. 19 deputies and the Little Hocking Squad responded to the scene of a deceased individual.

Oct. 19 a report was made of a tree stand being stolen, however the owner did not wish to have a report made.

Oct. 20 a report was made of dogs killing an individual’s rabbits.

Oct. 20 a welfare check was done on a subject acting oddly and making concerning comments.

Oct. 20 deputies assisted the Beverly Waterford Squad with a call.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail Oct. 20 and Oct 22:

Kristofer Robertlayne Eye, 40, Lower Salem, tampering with records, failure to register as a sex offender, both felonies.

Damion Lamare Way, 23, Parkersburg, domestic violence and interference with custody, both misdemeanors.

Zaire Cortez Laurent Edwards, 18, Akron, trafficking in fentanyl and possession of fentanyl, both felonies.

Justin Brian Hines, 26, Marietta, possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, both felonies.

John Benjamin Vineyard, 40, Marietta, probation violation, driving under suspension and use of electronic wireless communication devices, all misdemeanors.

Morgan Wyatt Tippie, 27, Belpre, improper handling of firearms in a motor vehicle, a felony; and OVI, open container, driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs and failure to stop at a stop bar or flashing red light, all misdemeanors.

Falcon Ross Owens, 29, Marietta, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor.

Felicia Dawn Wallace, 33, Waterford, breach of recognizance and theft of a motor vehicle, both felonies.

Charles Brandon Ball, 32, Marietta, obstructing official business, a misdemeanor, and parole violation, a felony.

There are currently 18 women and 83 men being housed in the Washington County Jail.

Oct. 21 a license plate from Adams Township was turned in and the owner was notified.

Oct. 23 a report was made of subjects damaging an electric box.

Oct. 23 a deputy assisted at the scene of a vehicle crash in Pioneer Township.

Oct. 23 Deputy Schwendeman responded to a crash on the roadway of Ohio 7, Newport Township. The driver of the vehicle, Haley Tidd, stated they were traveling north on Ohio 7 when she struck the vehicle in front of her, which had stopped to allow traffic to pass before they could make the turn. Haley D. Tidd, 220 Mitchell Drive, Newport, was issued a citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

Oct. 23 Deputy Zide was dispatched to Hill Road, Wesley Township, to a report of Sheldon Hill abusing the occupant of a home and damaging her vehicle. The victim had visible red marks/scratches on her face. It was reported that Hill had held her down and hit her in her face, attempting to quiet her so the neighbors did not hear them arguing. Once Hill left the area he backed into her car, causing significant damage and smashing/breaking the rear glass. Hill left the area prior to law enforcement arriving, possibly due to there being warrants for his arrest. A warrant is being requested for the arrest of Sheldon Dwight Hill, 40, last known address 11827 Ohio 555, Cutler, on a charge of domestic violence.

Oct. 23 Sgt. Stillson, at about 2:15 a.m., observed a Ford vehicle bearing Ohio registration driving aggressively on Ohio 7 in Warren Township. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Dwayne Singer. Singer was found to be driving on a suspended license. Dwayne Scott Singer, 31, 417 Harmar St., Marietta, was issued a citation for driving under suspension.

Raven Skyler Andrews, 32, Marietta, two counts driving under suspension, two counts expired plates and fictitious plates.

Gidget Jena Leasure, 35, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Larry Gale Thompson Jr., 40, Marietta, criminal mischief, a misdemeanor.

Angel Dawn Marie Donley-Hart, 22, Marietta, probation violation and theft, both misdemeanors.

Carl Dennis Robison, 30, Marietta, trafficking in drugs, trafficking in cocaine, three counts possession of drugs, all felonies.

Oct. 24 a report was made of a bad check for more than $1,000. The subject was advised to send the appropriate correspondence.

Oct. 24 Deputy Schwendeman completed a private property crash report at 1001 Pike St., Marietta.

Oct. 24 Sgt. Stillson conducted a traffic crash investigation at River Lane, where a deputy sheriff had struck a deer while responding to a call for service.

Oct. 24 a report from Warren Elementary School was made of a possible impaired driver. The areas were patrolled but the vehicle was not located.

Oct. 24 Deputy Wallace, while on patrol near Acme Street, Pioneer Township, observed a vehicle bearing Ohio registration commit a stop bar violation. A traffic stop was initiated and the driver was found to be Darin S. Miller. Miller gave consent for a search to Deputy Wallace, in which she located .45 grams of suspended fentanyl on the passenger seat. Darin Shawn Miller, 46, 215 Sheldon Ave., Marietta, was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail on a charge of possession of drugs.

Dwayne Scott Singer, 31, Marietta, probation violation, a felony.

Curtis Michael Lewis, 41, Marietta, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Brandon Edward O’brien, 36, Cutler, probation violation, two counts, both felonies.

Rinda Marie Niggemeyer, 35, Coolville, probation violation, a felony, Fairfield County.

Darin Shawn Miller, 46, possession of drugs, a felony.

Oct. 26 deputies responded to a report of a verbal disagreement with a family member. Both were warned of disorderly charges if deputies needed to return.

Oct. 26 deputies responded to a welfare check of a subject who fell outside.

Oct. 26 deputies and the Beverly Waterford Squad responded to a possible drug overdose.

Oct. 26 deputies responded to check the condition of a subject who was reported to be “acting very erratic.”

Oct. 26 deputies responded to 25 Sheets Run Road, Newport Township, to a report of Arthur (Dean) Myers trying to beat up an individual. The complainant had dried blood on his lips and around his lip, and “goose eggs” starting to appear around his eyes. A verbal argument occurred that morning and it escalated into a physical altercation, initiated by Myers. Myers had the individual on the ground, punching him in the face while stating, “I’m going to beat your brains in.” Deputies contacted Myers, who advised the events from Oct. 26 started the day before that, when the other individual asked for help at the sawmill. Arthur Dean Myers, 53, 6970 Ohio 60, Lowell, was placed under arrest for domestic violence and taken to the Washington County Jail.

Oct. 26 Deputy Norris began an investigation in Aurelius Township of a catalytic converter and tires being stolen.

Oct. 26 Deputy Young was dispatched to Main Street, Waterford Township, to a report of Scott Zimmerman shoving an individual down, as well as holding a gun to her/his head during an argument. The complainant had locked themselves in a bedroom while Zimmerman had gone outside. Deputy Young met with Zimmerman in front of the residence. Zimmerman advised there had been a verbal argument and also that he had the other party’s phone, which he kept from him/her. Zimmerman stated the pistol was fake and advised he/she knew it was fake now. Scott Michael Zimmerman, 44, 405 Main St., Waterford, was placed under arrest and charged with domestic violence and disrupting public service. Zimmerman was taken to the Washington County Jail.

Arthur Dean Myers, 53, Lowell, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Kyla Rakia Sherell Travis, 22, Cleveland, illegal use of possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of drugs, both misdemeanors.

Scott Michael Zimmerman, 44, Waterford, domestic violence, a misdemeanor, and disrupting public service, a felony.

Oct. 30 Sgt. Painter was dispatched to Lake Road, Barlow Township, to a report of a residence being entered and items stolen. Sgt. Painter located Jack McCleese, who was reported to be the subject involved. McCleese admitted to taking a fish tank, fish and a television set. All the items were located, however they were damaged. Jack Marshall McCleese, 56, 2705 Lake Road, Fleming, was placed under arrest and charged with burglary.

Oct. 30 Deputy Aultman and the Dunham Vol. Fire Department responded to the home of a deceased individual.

Oct. 30 a welfare check was requested in Muskingum Township on a subject after they called off from work.

Oct. 30 deputies arrested Marc Reeder, Belpre, on an outstanding warrant.

Oct. 30, a deputy and K9 assisted the Belpre PD on a traffic stop.

Oct. 30 a report was made of subjects parked on Wells Road. Subjects were contractors working in the area.

Oct. 30 a deputy arrested Derek Waterman on an outstanding warrant.

Kevin Jason Tucker, 44, Fleming, failure to comply and domestic violence, both felonies.

Jack Marshall McCleese, 56, Fleming, contempt, a misdemeanor; and burglary, a felony.

Marlena Jean Lawson, 28, Marietta, probation violation, a felony.

John Benjamin Vineyard, 40, Marietta, trafficking in drugs and illegal use of a minor in nudity, both felonies.

Marc Aaron Reeder, 46, Belpre, probation violation and loose dog, both misdemeanors.

Tyler James Boothby, 30, Waterford, drug paraphernalia, a misdemeanor.

Derek Jerome Waterman, 30, Lowell, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

Oct. 30 Deputy Tucker was patrolling I-77 northbound when he observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed in the oncoming lane. The radar revealed the speed to be 87 mph in a posted 70 mph zone. A traffic stop was made on the vehicle. The driver, Hannah Dawn Mercer, was issued a citation for speed.

Oct. 31 deputies responded to Palmer Township to the scene of an unresponsive individual.

Oct. 31 deputies and the Fearing VFD, Little Muskingum VFD and Reno VFD responded to a fire on Little Eight Mile Road.

Oct. 31 a deputy assisted a resident who had trespassers at the residence.

Oct. 31 a deputy and K9 assisted the Marietta PD.

Anthony Cane Golden, 28, Akron, contempt of court.

Danzell LarryLee Sullivan, 20, Akron, possession of fentanyl and trafficking in fentanyl, both felonies.

Christopher James Shrake, 49, Akron, complicity to trafficking in drugs, a felony; and obstructing official business, a misdemeanor.

Paris Dean Timmons, 32, Akron, two counts trafficking in drugs and two counts possession of drugs, all felonies.

Michael Edward Chichester, 40, Waterford, probation violation, a misdemeanor.
