Free drive thru meal
Norwood United Methodist Church will provide a free drive-thru meal at 4:30 p.m. today in the alley beside the church. Enter from Vine Street and exit onto Colegate Drive.
PJ party/movie night
Marietta High School's Key Club will hold a cozy and entertaining PJ Party/Movie night at 6:30 p.m. today, in the high school auditorium. The movie will be "The Polar Express." Hot chocolate and cookies will be available for a small cost. Attendees are encouraged to wear their favorite pajamas. Admission is by donation with all proceeds supporting the organization of a winter formal. Food distribution
The South East Ohio Food Bank will hold a food distribution at noon today, at the Washington County Fairgrounds, 922 Front St., Marietta. Fresh produce and other food items will be distributed to families who are under 200% of the federal poverty guidelines. Bring photo I.D. and proof of residency no more than 60 days old. The event is open for all residents of Washington Co. Pre-registration is recommended at freshtrak.com using your Washington Co. zip code. For any questions, call 740-385-6813.
3-D Holiday scene craft
Adults and teens ages 15 and up can make a pieced paper 3-D holiday scene at 2 p.m. today at the Belpre Branch library, 2012 Washington Blvd. Registration is required so call the library at 740-423-8381 to register.
Book club
This month's evening book club will be at 5 p.m. today at the Belpre Branch library, 2012 Washington Blvd. The book will be "Once Upon A Wardrobe" by Patti Callahan. The event is for ages 18 and up. Pick up the book at the library. No registration is required.
Ceramic snowflake
Children ages 5 to 12 can decorate a ceramic snowflake from 3 to 5 p.m. today at the Marietta Branch library, 615 Fifth St. Registration is required as space is limited to 20. All supplies are provided. Call the library at 740-373-1057 Ext. 219 to register.
Toddler time
Toddler Time featuring stories and crafts for children ages 18 months to 3 and their caregivers will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Marietta Branch library, 615 Fifth St. For more information call 740-373-1057 and ask for the youth Services Department.
IT Specialist
An IT Specialist will be available to help with technology questions from 1 to 3:30 p.m on Tuesdays, and 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Fridays at the Marietta Branch library, 615 Fifth St. They will help you learn how to use your cell phone, computer, tablet, the internet, or Microsoft Office programs.
Ugly sweater show off
Come wear your ugly sweater during regular library hours today at the New Matamoras library, 100 Merchant St. Get your picture taken in your ugly sweater and be entered in a raffle. All ages are welcome.
