Marietta Police
Dec. 5:
• A subject reported a Husqvarna lawn tractor stolen from the rear of 1346 Colegate Drive.
Dec. 6:
• Police initiated an investigation into a burglary in the 700 block of Quarry Street. The burglary remains under investigation.
• Police stopped a Chevy Silverado on Putnam Street at Gilman Avenue for a traffic violation. During the stop police seized medication not in a container case and referred the report to the prosecutor’s office.
• Police were dispatched to the 300 block of Muskingum Drive about telecommunication harassment. Police learned that the threats were taking place on Facebook. The report remains under investigation.
Dec. 7:
• Police were dispatched to the 400 block of Fearing Street about a theft. An investigation was completed. Later, the complainant advised it was a miscommunication, it had been resolved and he requested no further investigation.
• Police conducted an investigation regarding domestic violence. The incident was found to have happened on Dec. 6 at an apartment in the 200 block of Pike Street. The female had bruises on her body, but the male also had video of her significantly attacking him. At the conclusion of investigation, James Henes, 47, was arrested for felony domestic violence on Tiffany Bookman and taken to jail. Tiffany Bookman, 33, also was arrested for domestic violence on James Henes and jailed.
• Police were dispatched to Marietta Memorial Hospital to pick up drugs/paraphernalia left in a hospital bed by a patient on Dec. 6. Police were advised that Wood County Children’s Services wanted the items collected for a case of theirs.
