Work on the new headquarters of Par Mar Oil started Tuesday in
Marietta's Harmar neighborhood. A large track hoe was used to demolish several structures along Gilman Street to make room for the project that will bring new retail and office space to the neighborhood. The multi-million-dollar facility will use the block bordered by Franklin Street, Lancaster Street, Gilman Avenue and Putnam Avenue.
