Nov. 11

¯ Sgt. Stillson was patrolling northbound on I-77 at the two-mile marker when he observed a vehicle bearing Ohio registration commit a marked lanes violation. The entire right third of the car drove onto the shoulder of the roadway. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was identified as Chelsie L. Dutton Neader. Neader was slurring her speech, had an odor of alcohol about her and appeared to have glassy eyes. Neader said she had a Busch Light earlier in the day but had not consumed any alcohol recently. An open case of Busch Light was observed in the back seat. Neader performed poorly on the three Standard Field Sobriety Tests. Chelsie L. Dutton Neader, 34, 1061 Laurel Ridge Road, Lowell, was placed under arrest and taken to the Marietta Police Department for blood alcohol level testing, which she refused. Subsequently, Neader was issued a citation for OVI.

Nov. 12

¯ Deputies assisted at the end of a pursuit that began in Parkersburg and ended in Belpre.

Nov. 13

¯ Sgt. Parks began an investigation into a fake counterfeit one hundred dollar bill.

¯ Robert Earl O’Brien Jr., 41, Marietta, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯Thomas Gale Little Jr., 33, St. Marys, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail Nov. 14 :

¯ Destinee Patience Farnsworth, 27, Marietta, resisting arrest and breach of recognizance, both misdemeanors; and theft, a felony.

¯ Skyler Michael Paul, 31, Marietta, parole violation, a felony.

¯ D’Azian D’Quan Cargill, 19, Akron, improperly handling a firearm in a motor vehicle, a felony.

¯ Shilow Wade Peaytt, 35, Marietta, obstructing official business and assault, both felonies; and resisting arrest and domestic violence, both misdemeanors.

¯ James Allen Chancey, 37, Waverly, Ohio, driving under suspension, a misdemeanor.

The following individuals were processed into the Washington County Jail Nov. 15 :

¯ Allen Edward Sully, 62, Cutler, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Alphonso Lorenzo Howard Jr., 33, Decatur, Ga., kidnapping, failure to comply and theft probation violation, all felonies; and, coercion, a misdemeanor.

¯ Erick Flint Adams, 49, Parkersburg, domestic violence, a misdemeanor.

Nov. 16

¯ A deputy spoke with an individual who was scammed out of money for solar panels.

¯ Deputy Windland responded to Ohio 26, Marietta Township, to a report of Shawn Covey being disorderly. Covey was reported to be in a fit over not getting a ride. Covey had grabbed the victim’s throat, impeding his normal breathing, and threatened his life, causing him to have a minor injury. Shawn Eugene Covey, 46, Marietta, was placed under arrest and taken to the Washington County Jail on a charge of strangulation and domestic violence.

¯ Kyle Anthony Davis, 28, Marietta, probation violation, a felony.

¯ Christopher Allen Peyton, 34, Marietta, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs and domestic violence, both felonies; and two counts of violating a protection order, both misdemeanors.

¯ Joshua Alan Beaver, 43, New Matamoras, misuse of credit cards, theft of credit cards, both felonies.

Nov. 17

¯ Lt. Hornbeck, while in Newport Township, observed a gray Jeep Compass bearing Ohio registration commit a traffic control device violation. A traffic stop revealed the driver as Jared R. Pierce and the passenger as Chelsie Cochran. While the original purpose for the stop was being investigated, Cochran gave consent to search the car and Pierce was asked to step out of the vehicle. Pierce consented to have a pat down conducted on his person. A hard knot near his groin was immediately identified as contraband. Pierce was asked to retrieve the item, which consisted of 34.12 grams of packaged white powder. Cochran said the powder was, in fact, heroin. Cochran confirmed knowledge of the sale of heroin and a search of her bag revealed a meth pipe. Chelsie M. Cochran, 30, 121 Warner St., Marietta, was placed under arrest and charged with complicity in trafficking heroin and possession of drug abuse instruments. Jared R. Pierce, 25, 711 Main St., Sistersville, was placed under arrest and charged with trafficking in drugs.

Nov. 18

¯ Sgt. Painter conducted a traffic stop in Dunham Township. A vehicle was traveling at 90 mph in a posted 60 mph zone. A citation was issued to Brandy N. Ferguson, 590 North St., Stockport, for speed.

¯ Deputy Young and other deputies were dispatched to Ohio 676, Watertown Township, to a report that Noah Gaskill was screaming out of control. Deputies made contact at the residence where Gaskill reportedly had a verbal argument with Patricia Largent over Gaskill’s dog bed that had been washed, damaged and thrown outside. Gaskill was upset so he threw Largent’s dog bed outside as well. Largent became upset so she grabbed a knife and walked towards the door to cut up her dog bed so they would be even. Largent states Gaskill grabbed her and threw her on the couch and held her there. Gaskill advised the same occurred, however he felt when Largent came toward him with the knife she was going to harm him. Gaskill and Largent reported they were arguing throughout the day. Patricia A Largent, 50, and Noah Allen Harra Gaskill, 19, 13363 Ohio 676, Waterford, both will be summoned into Marietta Municipal Court on charges of disorderly conduct.

Nov. 19

¯ Deputy Tucker met with an individual who had left his truck running while parked and it had been stolen from Marietta Township. The vehicle is a 2007 Honda Accord. A suspect was confirmed to be Dustin McKnight, 38, 807 Belrock Ave., Belpre. A warrant for McKnight’s arrest on a charge of theft was filed and issued through Marietta Municipal Court.

Nov. 20

¯ Khary D. Rogers, a current inmate, was found to have two felony warrants from the state of Tennessee for theft and burglary and a misdemeanor warrant for criminal trespass. Rogers’ identity was confirmed and charges of fugitive from justice were filed on Khary Damar Rogers, 31, 2568 Briar Lane, Toledo.

¯ Deputies stopped at Groves Avenue for a semi struck on the hill. Eventually the truck was found to have run out of gas.

¯ Cody Eugene Heffner, 37, Williamsport, Pa., contempt of court and criminal damaging, both misdemeanors.

¯ Chelsie Marie Cochran, 30, Marietta, complicity to trafficking in drugs, a felony; and possession of drug abuse instruments, a misdemeanor.

¯ Jared Robert Pierce, 25, Sistersville, possession of drugs and trafficking in drugs, both felonies.

¯ Amy Jo Andermanis, 45, Belpre, vehicular homicide, a felony, and operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol/a drug of abuse or a combination, a misdemeanor.

¯ Kyle Ann Matheny, 19, Beverly, theft, a misdemeanor.

¯ Dustin Lee McKnight, 38, Belpre, probation violation, a misdemeanor.

¯ Janie Dawn Wise, 48, Little Hocking, probation violation, a felony.

¯ Amanda Mae Schmidt, 28, Vienna, possession of drugs, a felony.

¯ Ryan Vance Jeffrey, 42, Vienna, possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, tampering with evidence, possession of fentanyl and trafficking in drugs, all felonies.

¯ Matthew Gene Schafer, 44, probation violation, a felony.

¯ Ryan James McLean, 38, Proctorville, four counts probation violation, all felonies.

¯ Khary Damar Rogers, 31, Toledo, fugitive from justice, a misdemeanor; and theft, a felony.

¯ William Joseph Stout, 46, Parkersburg, aggravated possession of drugs, a felony; and failure to display plates, driving under suspension, drug paraphernalia and fictitious plates, all misdemeanors.

¯ Dustin Bradley Whipkey, Lowell, probation violation, a felony.

¯ John Wesley Hoy, 45, Belpre, criminal damaging, a misdemeanor; and grand theft, theft without consent and two counts of safecracking, all felonies.
