≤ Grandview Township will hold its next regular session meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 9 at the Township Building.
≤ The January Franciscan Community Meals of Marietta Board of Directors meeting will be held on Jan. 11, at the Marietta Wine Cellars, Second St., Marietta.
≤ The Belpre Township Trustees will be holding their regular scheduled meetings at 6 p.m. on the second Monday of every month located at 335 Baker Road, Little Hocking.
Community Breakfast
Matamoras #374, Free and Accepted Masons, 301 Main Street, New Matamoras is holding a community breakfast buffet from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday. The breakfast includes scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, sausage gravy, hash browns, biscuits, pancakes, cinnamon roll, orange juice, and coffee. The public is invited to attend. Carry out is available. The suggested donation is $7 per person. Profits from the breakfast support Grand Lodge of Ohio Charitable Foundation, the Ohio Masonic Communities, and local charities.
Concert
The Kingsmen will be live in concert at 6 p.m. Saturday at the Cornerstone Gospel Church, 3100 17th Ave., Vienna. $15 suggested donation will be collected at the door. For more information, call Joe Brookover at 304-488-0384.
Book Sale
The Barlow Branch Library, 45 White Oak Professional Center, Vincent, will hold a used book sale from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today.
'Souper' Thursday
The Barlow Branch Library, 45 White Oak Professional Center, Vincent, will hold "Souper Thursday" from 12 to 1:30 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room. A free bowl of soup and a beverage will be provided, while supplies last. This event is open to all ages and no registration is required.
Kids snowball painting
The Belpre Branch Library will hold a kids activity at 4 p.m. today. Kids in grades K-5, can come and use pom poms to paint an abstract winter scene. Registration is required.
