Celebrating 11 years of being a No Kill animal shelter, Humane Society of the Ohio Valley has extended the $11 Dog adoption special until March 11.
Kennels are full and a few floor crates are being used for added space. The animal shelter chose to lower adoption fees and ask for adoptions, rather than euthanizing healthy, adoptable dogs to make more room. The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley asks the community to consider adopting to help out the animal shelter. Volunteers to walk dogs and drive transport are also needed.
Donations of supplies would also help ad the animal shelter has included their most needed items on their website at www.hsov.org.
