¯ The Policy Committee of the Warren Local Board of Education will meet at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 23, at the Warren Administration Office, 220 Sweetapple Road, Vincent.

¯ To foster better awareness for Charcot Marie Tooth Disease, Alyccia Barker will hold a Zoom meeting from 2:30-5 p.m. Saturday to discuss issues, concerns, problems, and networking in sharing experiences and success stories in living with CMT. Anyone with CMT, family members, loved ones, and anyone interested in learning more about this currently incurable disease is welcome to participate, view, or listen.

¯ The Village of Lowell will hold a community meeting at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 28, at the Lowell Fire House on Lock Street.

¯ The Buckeye Hills Regional Council Executive Committee will meet at 11:30 a.m. Friday, March 1, at the Buckeye Hills Regional Council office, 1400 Pike St., Marietta. ¯ The Watertown Township Board of Trustees will hold its regular monthly meetings at 6:30 p.m. the second Monday of the month at the Watertown Volunteer Fire Department.

¯ The Ludlow Township Board of Trustees will hold its regular meetings at 7:30 p.m. on the last day of each month at the Town Hall.

¯ AARP Tax-Aide is offering free tax return preparation for all taxpayers on Mondays and Thursdays through April 11. Schedule appointments by calling Washington County Library (Main Branch) at 740-373-1057. No walk-ins are accepted. Taxpayers should bring all their tax documents including any letters from the IRS along with a copy of last year's tax return plus picture ID and Social Security cards for all family members.

¯ Marietta Bantam youth softball and baseball registration for ages five thru 12 will be from 5-7 p.m. each Friday until March 8 at 211 Linwood Ave, Marietta. You can also register online at www.mariettabantam.net.

¯ St. Mary Catholic School Lenten Fish Fry will be from 5-7 p.m. every Friday through March 22. Dine in, carry out and drive thru options available.

¯ The Beverly Eagles will hold an all-you-can-eat Fish Fry at 5:30 p.m., Friday Feb. 23. For carry out call 740-984-4733. Entertainment will be provided by Misty Frye Karaoke.

¯ Our Lady of Mercy Church will hold Lenten Fish Fries from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Feb. 23, March 8, and March 22. Cost is $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12. Drive through pickup for all to-go meals are $12 and there is no need to call ahead.

¯ Beverly American Legion Post 389, 114 Fifth Street Beverly, will hold a public steak fry from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24. A meal is $15 and includes steak, baked potato, salad and a roll. Music after the streak fry will be performed by the Rimshot Band.

¯ The St. John's Catholic Women's Club will host an eat-in or drive-thru breakfast from 8-10 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 25 at the Churchtown K of C Hall, 17472 State Route 676, Marietta. An adult meal including eggs, bacon, home fries, biscuit/sausage gravy, and drink for $10. A kid's meal including pancakes, bacon, eggs, and drink for $5. There will also be a bake sale sponsored by Churchtown Busy Bunch 4-H Club.

¯ Mary's House will be having a Bag and Basket Bingo Fundraiser at 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 25, at St. Bernard Catholic Church Social Hall, 307 Seventh St., Beverly. Doors open at 1 p.m., 20 games are $20. Tickets will be sold at the door only. A 50/50 drawing, raffle, and concession stand will also be available. Proceeds will be benefiting Mary's House for expectant mothers as they learn to care for themselves and their newborn children.

¯ The New Matamoras Community Pool will hold a Basket Bingo at the New Matamoras Elementary School, Sunday, Feb. 25. Doors open at 1 p.m. and bingo starts at 2 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $20. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, concessions, and door prizes available. This event is sponsored by the Friends of the New Matamoras Pool.

¯ A baked steak and pork tenderloin dinner will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, March 7 at the Macksburg United Methodist Church. One meal is $13 each. Carryout meals only. ¯ The Warren Local Athletic Boosters 300 Dinner will be held at Dyson Baudo Saturday, March 9. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $120 for two. This event is for adults 21 and over. If interested in purchasing tickets, please contact Renee Parks at 740-350-5737.

¯ MOV'n Dragons will be holding a pasta dinner fundraiser from 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 100 Mill Creek Road, Marietta. The meal includes your choice of meat sauce or vegetarian sauce, salad, bread, and dessert. To-go containers are available. Tickets are $12.00 in advance, or $14.00 at the door, and $5.00 for children under 5 years of age. The benefit will also have a silent auction.

¯ Local musicians The Troubadours are reuniting for the Washington State Foundation Student Emergency Fund. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
