Marietta Main Street’s Spring Shop Hop

By Staff 3 min read

It's time again for the Spring Shop Hop in downtown Marietta, coordinated by Marietta Main Street and held Saturday from 11 am - 4 pm. This triannual event has become a favorite of the community and a fun way to support Marietta's many small independent shops and restaurants. Participating businesses will be highlighted with balloons outside their doors, and every purchase at those businesses will earn a raffle ticket for a large prize basket. The basket will be filled with gift cards and items donated by the businesses and the winner will be drawn after all the tickets are collected.

At Andy's Toy Chest, all Melissa and Doug items will be 15% off, while Tabletop Puzzles and Games will have 10% off the entire store. Shoppers at Teri Ann's can draw an Easter egg to earn 10-30% off their purchase. Emleigh's and Mama B's will have a $10 rack along with 30% off select new arrivals. Just a Jar Design Press will feature sale prices on their prints and t-shirts, and neighbor Little Rosie Boutique will offer 10% off total purchase.

Clutch Collective is hosting West Virginia illustrator Logan Schmitt from 12-4. Logan will be on hand to meet the community and make available his prints, stickers and more. At adjacent Wit & Whimzy, shoppers will find sale prices on select items. With any purchase of $100 or more at Threadz Boutique, customers will receive a gift card for future use. At Green Acres, any purchase of $20 or more will earn a free pair of earrings.

Marietta Makery will have a storewide sale of 10-50% off with some exclusions, while American Flags and Poles will offer 25% off all bunnies. At First City Records, shoppers can browse the "Spring Cleaning" table of discounted vinyl, CDs and merchandise. Sugar Maple Boutique will have clearance items up to 70% off with 20% off regular items, and every purchase will be entered to win a gift card. At Hidden Marietta in Harmar, regularly priced clothing will be 20% off, and Marietta Adventure Company is featuring their Speed into Spring Bike Sale.

Some restaurants will be participating in the Shop Hop with their own specials, such as Easter themed cocktails at 740 Social. The community is invited to welcome spring by spending the day shopping and dining in downtown Marietta.

Jennifer Tinkler, Executive Director of Marietta Main Street, encourages the community to enjoy all that downtown Marietta has to offer.

"This Shop Hop is a great way to get downtown and support our local economy.

With nearly twenty of our unique shops participating, people are guaranteed to find that special item for their home or wardrobe."
