Community members learn about NASA at an event held by the Beverly Branch of the Washington County Public Library Tuesday evening at Parkwood Dining in Beverly. Attendees heard from Solar System Ambassadors Program volunteer Tyler Hines via Zoom and received eclipse glasses for the April 8 celestial event. The Solar System Ambassadors is a program through NASA's Jet Propulsion Lab that works with volunteers across the nation to communicate the science and excitement of NASA's space exploration missions and discoveries with people in the volunteers' communities, according to NASA's website.
