Spring Craft Vendor Fair
The Warren Band Boosters will hold their 8th Annual Spring Craft Vendor Fair from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday April 6, at Warren Local High School, 130 Warrior Drive Vincent. Known as the largest Spring Fair in the area, the fair consists of 160 booths filled with unique items from crafters/vendors from across the states of Ohio and West Virginia. There will also be a full concession stand with a signature dish of homemade chicken and noodles, a large selection of homemade treats, and a Country Store with a chance to win crafts of your choice. Admission is $5 for Adults, $3 for Students (ages 6-12) and Senior Citizens, and Children 5 and under are free.
Ohio State University Garden Symposium
The 37th Garden Symposium will be presented by The Ohio State University Master Gardener program of Washington County from 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 6, at the Washington State College of Ohio, 710 Colgate Dr., Marietta. The theme this year will be 'Nature's Bounty: Cultivating Abundance in Your Backyard. To register for the event, go to washington.osu.edu/events.
The Troubadours performance
Local musicians The Troubadours are reuniting for the Washington State Foundation Student Emergency Fund. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.
Noble County Gold performance
Noble County Performing Arts will present Noble County Gold at 7 p.m. April 11, 12 and 13 in the Caldwell High School Auditorium at 516 Fairground St. Tickets are available at Patty's Place, Kathy's Kitchen or any performing arts member. Tickets can be reserved by calling Darla at 740-732-5281.
Marietta Township School Reunion
The Marietta Township School Reunion will be noon May 18 at the Marietta Township Community Building in Reno. Schools include former students and teachers of Sandhill, Reno, Goose Run, Jennings Hill, Cornerville, Barker, Yankeeburg and Eight Mile. Meat, coffee, tea and table service provided. Lawrence Alumni Reunion
The Friends of Lawrence School are currently planning a reunion. This event will be held on June 1 at Frontier High School. For those that graduated from Lawrence School, they have your address. Grief Recovery Support Group
Gilman United Methodist Church, 312 Gilman Ave., Marietta, will be offering a 13-week Grief Recovery Support Group starting from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Tuesdays through April 9. Each session, the group will watch a video, featuring personal stories of those grieving, and hear encouraging information from the grief recovery expert. Zumba Classes
Zumba classes will be held from 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and 11:30 a.m. Monday at the O'Neill Center. The cost is $5 per class or $25 for six classes. All ages welcome. For more information, call 740-373-3914.
Ballroom Dancing Classes
Weekly ballroom dancing classes will be held 7-10 p.m. the second, third and fourth Saturdays of the month at Miller Prosthetics, 2311 Ohio Ave., Parkersburg. Dress is casual. Cost is a $5-per-person donation with singles and couples welcome.
