Peoples Bank Foundation announces $12,000 donation to SEOPA

The Peoples Bank Foundation has made a $12,000 donation to Southeastern Ohio Port Authority.

According to Peoples Bank, this contribution supports the mission of Southeastern Ohio Port Authority to enhance the economic environment in the Washington County, Ohio, region through leadership and collaborative, innovative partnerships to retain existing jobs, recruit new companies, and redevelop sites, providing a growing, vibrant economy.

"Supporting organizations that share our vision to improve our communities is important to Peoples Bank's mission as a community bank," said Peoples Bank Putnam Street Branch Manager, Daneka Hedges. "We are impressed with the work being done by Jessie Roush and his team at the Port Authority."

The Peoples Bank Foundation was started by Peoples Bank in 2003 and celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2023. Since its inception, the Foundation has delivered over $7 million in grants and scholarships.
