An arrest has been made in connection to the 1995 murder of Kimberly Fulton and her 17-month-old son Daniel Fulton.
Johnny R. Ball, 62, was indicted May 15 on five third degree felony counts of perjury and one third degree felony count of obstructing justice, according to an indictment report.
Washington County Sheriff’s Office Cold Case Detective Jeff Seevers confirmed a “person of interest” was indicted and arrested in connection to the Fulton case and that the person is Johnny R. Ball from Washington County.
“He (kept) giving false info,” Seevers said about Ball. He also said Ball kept lying to the grand jury, so he was charged with the perjury counts and obstructing justice.
According to Washington County Jail records Ball was put in the jail Tuesday.

Kimberly Fulton and Daniel Fulton’s bodies were discovered after a fire in a mobile home in Palmer Towmship on March 5, 1995, but further investigation showed they died before the fire, which investigators assume was set to cover up their murder.
The case had one arrest of Scott Hickman of Waterford in 1995 but he was released for lack of evidence. The case was cold until it was reopened in 2019. Hickman was indicted in October 2021 on four counts of aggravated murder and two counts of murder for his involvement in the death of the Fulton. No other arrests had been made in the case until the arrest of Ball yesterday.
Seevers said the Sheriff’s Office is still investigating Ball’s involvement, along with the involvement of others, in the deaths of Kimberly and Daniel Fulton.
