PARKERSBURG -- Discovery World on Market recognized Kathy Reeder as its Gearhead of the Month.
"Kathy is an exemplary museum assistant who has been with Discovery World on Market since August of 2023," said Melissa Wilson, operations manager at the interactive children's museum in downtown Parkersburg. "As a retired teacher, Kathy brings a broad knowledge base of childhood development and strategies. She has developed educational programs for field trips in the River Adventure to encompass different age groups, filled in with our Tiny STEAMers program, and has been a reader for various story-time events.
"She is dedicated and an innovative member of our team, and we are honored to have her," Wilson said.
