The O’Neill Center will host a “Welcome to Medicare” event where guests will be able to hear information on Medicare as a service of the Ohio Department of Insurance (OSHIIP).

OSHIIP will be at the O’Neill Center at 5:30 p.m. Monday, June 17, to provide information on topics such as why it is important to sign up for Medicare when you are eligible, information on selecting the best Medicare prescription drug option and the differences between Medicare supplement insurance and Medicare Advantage plans.

Anyone nearing the age where they will become eligible for Medicare is encouraged to register and attend the program. The O’Neill Center staff are trained and will be on hand to make individual appointments to further explain options available.
