Vote this week in final Readers’ Choice round
Staff Reports
It’s that time again, this week is your chance to choose the winners of the annual Marietta Times Readers’ Choice Awards.
In May, readers cast votes for 1,837 reader-nominated businesses and now we are down to the top five vote getters in each category. There are 964 businesses left to compete in 10 categories and 192 subcategories, according to Marietta Times Advertising Director Lisa Northcraft.
The categories run the gamut from Entertainment to Health and Beauty to Food and Dining and more.
Voting opens Wednesday and runs through June 18. The top five finalists in each category will be introduced in a special section on Tuesday.
“Now is the time to decide who the winners are,” Marietta Times Publisher Jim Spanner said. “Our readers have excitedly participated in narrowing down over a thousand nominees to determine their favorite businesses and we appreciate their help in discovering their favorites among all the fantastic businesses in the Mid-Ohio Valley.”
Readers can vote once per day per category at mariettatimes.com/readerschoice to crown one winner and two finalists in each category.
Votes will be tallied by an independent third party and winners will be announced July 22.
