Church to celebrate 40th anniversary in Marietta
On the weekend of July 13 and 14, Crown Of Life Lutheran Church will be busy celebrating its founding. Officially, this congregation was organized and had its start in 1983.
However, their first regular Sunday worship did not happen until the spring of 1984.
Now, 40 years later this congregation celebrates their ministry to the people of the Mid-Ohio Valley. The theme for the weekend celebration is: “40 Years Of Gathering, Growing, and Going, All To The Glory Of God!”
On Saturday, July 13, there will be a picnic at Tomlinson Park in Williamstown from 1-5 p.m.
On Sunday, July 14, at 10 a/m.. there will be a service of Thanksgiving at the church, located at 300 Wooster St., Marietta.
Event organizers look forward to welcoming many of the former pastors and former members as they join in thanksgiving. All neighbors are most welcome. For more information, call 708-600-5955.
