PARKERSBURG — Leavitt Funeral Services and Crematory has added a pre-arrangement adviser to its staff.

Kitty Cheuvront previously worked in the insurance industry for about 20 years with potential Medicare-eligible individuals and conducted seminars for families interested in long-term care for themselves or loved ones. That experience positions Cheuvront as a valued member at Leavitt, the company said.

“Kitty has demonstrated the desire, knowledge and passion to help individuals during their pre-planning process. She is exactly what we look for in an adviser who (helps) individuals plan for their final wishes” Stephen Leavitt said.

“We’re proud to have Kitty on our staff to help us serve those in the Mid-Ohio Valley.”

The Leavitt Pre-Planning group offers free Lunch and Learns and workshops to help people understand the importance of arranging their end-of-life preferences.
