Police records

The Marietta Police Department released the following reports Jan. 23:

Jan. 14

* An individual was taken to the hospital for a mental evaluation following an investigation at an apartment in the city limits.

Jan. 16

* An officer was contacted by the Marietta High School vice principal in reference to a physical altercation between two female students. It was determined through investigation that an assault occurred, and charges were to be sent to juvenile court on one of the students.

* An officer responded to a subject creating a disturbance at We Lov Pets, 450 Pike St., Unit A. Contact was made with Nathan A. Hickman, 39, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs. It was determined Hickman had threatened an individual and remained on the premises after being asked by staff to leave multiple times. He also resisted while being taken into custody. Hickman was charged with menacing, criminal trespass and resisting arrest.

Jan. 17

* A school resource officer began an investigation of an alleged juvenile assault at Marietta High School.

* An officer met and spoke with a victim about a missing iPhone from eight months ago and investigated.

* Gail L. Arnold, 59, was arrested on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated and marked lanes after a traffic stop on Gilman Avenue. Arnold was released to a sober party.
