The Marietta Police Department released the following reports Jan. 15:

Jan. 7

* The department began an investigation after receiving information about possible internet child exploitation.

* Officers responded with the Marietta Fire Department in reference to an unresponsive teenage girl, who subsequently passed away.

Jan. 9

* An officer took a complaint of a protection order violation, and an arrest warrant was requested for the suspect.

Jan. 10

* Officers were dispatched to a disturbance at the city building, 301 Putnam Ave. After speaking with both parties, it was learned that an argument occurred over a child custody dispute, but no charges were filed due to a lack of independent witnesses.

* Jacob J. Hall, 45, was arrested on a charge of operating a vehicle while intoxicated.

* Carter M. Haynes, 24, was arrested on an OVI charge.

Jan. 12

* Officers responded to the Duke and Duchess at 120 PIke St. in regard to a disturbance with violence. The potential victim did not cooperate and signed a refusal of investigation.
