PARKERSBURG — Discovery World on Market continues its employee recognition program with the Gearheads of the Month for February and March.

Oliver Cartwright was the winner for February.

“Oliver joined our team in 2023 with his first job as a museum assistant,” said Wendy Shriver, executive director of Discovery World on Market. “Oliver is very kind and soft spoken and has shown tremendous growth in his role over the past few months. He can manage his school and extracurricular activities as well as his work schedule.

“We are so happy he has stayed with us and look forward to watching what he will do following high school,” she said.

The March winner is Kylene Young.

“Kylene is our first two-time Gearhead of the Month,” Shriver said. “Kylene is extremely hard-working and brings a can-do attitude to work with her every day. I am thankful to have her on our team.”
