Peoples Bank Theatre announces its 2025 Sensory Friendly Film Series that includes seven free movies made possible by the Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities.

¯ Shrek 2 at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 8

¯ Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13

¯ Trolls Band Together at 2 p.m. Sunday Aug. 3

¯ LUCA at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 14

¯ Space Jam at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 12

¯ Toy Story 4 at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 9

The 2025 Sensory Friendly Film Series at Peoples Bank Theatre is sponsored by The Washington County Board of Developmental Disabilities. This series features adjustments to the everyday cinematic experience to create a positive, comfortable, and accepting environment for children and families affected by autism and sensory issues.

These adjustments include:

¯ Lights left on low

¯ Sounds turned down

¯ No previews before the film

¯ Staff trained in autism understanding

¯ Disabled access

¯ Chill-out zones

In these special screenings, attendees are welcome to get up, move around, sing, shout, and be themselves as they partake in the evening at Peoples Bank Theatre.
