Artsbridge extends Summer Music Series concert

PARKERSBURG — Artsbridge has announced an extended Summer Music Series concert on Thursday at City Park.

The show will be held from 6-9 p.m. rather than the usual 6:30-8 p.m. at the band shell to accommodate two performances.

Stephen Givens will kick off the show at 6 p.m., followed by a performance from the SideTrax Band. Concert sponsor is Lambert-Tatman Funeral Homes.

The second half of the evening begins with Evan Cunningham opening for the featured headliner, the Isidro Amigo Jazz Quartet. NorthBend Wealth Management is the sponsor.

The Summer Music Series is free and open to the public. Donations will be accepted to support programs offered by Artsbridge in Wood and Washington counties.

“Artsbridge is excited to extend this week’s concert to three full hours, giving the community even more opportunities to enjoy incredible music together,” Artsbridge Executive Director Lyndsay Dennis said. “We’re grateful to our sponsors who make events like this possible, and we look forward to seeing everyone at the park.”

Thursday’s concert is the next to last show for the series in 2025. The finale is the Showcase of Bands on Aug. 28 the bands from Belpre, Parkersburg, Parkersburg South and Williamstown high schools. That concert is sponsored by Napoli’s.
