High on the hog: Waterford Community Fair results announced

WATERFORD — The market hog sale at the 2025 Waterford Community Fair saw the purchase of 230 hogs by 130 buyers on Saturday.

The sale brought in $469,075, with an average price per head of $2,039.

Results from the fair, where Dustin Ehrman of Steubenville judged the hog show, follow:

¯ Grand Champion Market Hog: Madi Zimmer, SL Homemakers LS Boys 4-H Club, purchased by Hi-Vac for $7,500.

¯ Reserve Champion Market Hog: Maci A. Zimmer, SL Homemakers LS Boys 4-H Club, purchased by Full Circle Oil Field Services Inc. for $5,500
