¯ Willard G. Bush, 18, 508 Bear Creek Road, Lowell, driving a 2019 Chevy Silverado, was traveling southbound on Washington County Road 8 (Highland Ridge Road) in Muskingum Township Sept. 17 when he drove off the right side of the road, struck an embankment and a tree. Bush had no apparent injuries and was charged with failure to control.

¯ Davis S. McDaniel, 41, 648 Brick St., Middleport, driving a 2010 Subaru Outback, owned by Brandon D. Cochran, 47171 State Route 7, New Matamoras, was traveling westbound on Ohio 7 in Belpre Township Sept. 18, while Austin D. Vannoy, 28, 404 32nd St., Vienna, driving a 2016 Chevy Express, owned by Hooten Equipment Company LLC, 961 Virginia St., West, Charleston, W.Va., and Lacee N. Judson, 34, 467 Veto Circle, Belpre, driving a 2018 GMC Sierra, owned by Kyle W. Judson, same address, were both turning left onto Ohio 7 westbound from Farson Street when McDaniel struck Vannoy and then Judson. Vannoy had no apparent injuries, McDaniel had possible injuries and was taken by Belpre Fire EMS to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center and Judson had suspected minor injuries and was taken by WVU Medicine to Marietta Memorial Hospital in Belpre. No charges were listed. The crashes happened during a pursuit by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The accident and charges are being handled by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office at this time. McDaniel’s and Vannoy’s vehicles were towed to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office impound lot by the Washington County Prosecutors Office.

¯ Ashlee N. Erb, 36, 23165 State Route 339, Beverly, driving a 2017 Toyota Highlander, and Thomas E. Brothers, 52, 2689 North Center Road, Beverly, driving a 2006 Chevy Silverado, owned by Pioneer Pipe Inc., 2021 Hanna Road, Marietta, were both traveling northbound on Ohio 60 in Adams Township Sept. 18 when Brothers stopped to make a left turn and was struck in the rear by Erb. No injuries were reported and Erb was charged with not keeping assured clear distance.

¯ Darrell R. Ramsey, 20, 2520 Vickers Road, Marietta, driving a 2015 Honda Civic, was traveling westbound on Ohio 555 in Fairfield Township Sept. 19 when he struck a deer. Ramsey had no apparent injuries and no charges were listed.

¯ Garrett G. Evan, 27, 41011 Baker Road, Pomeroy, driving a 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, was traveling southbound on Ohio 339 in Belpre Township Sept. 20. Benjamin J. Marks, 299 Ohio River Road, Parkersburg, driving a 2014 Subaru Legacy, owned by Timothy Marks, same address, was traveling northbound on Belpre Township Road 15, when Evan struck Marks as he was turning onto Belpre Township Road 15. Marks then struck Chad E. McClung, 48, 4609 6th Ave., Vienna, driving a 2021 Subaru Outback, as he was stopped at the intersection. Evan became separated from his vehicle and came to rest off the west side of Ohio 339. Marks had possible injuries and was taken by Little Hocking EMS to Marietta Memorial Hospital in Belpre. Evan had suspected serious injuries and was taken by Little Hocking EMS to WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center. No charges were listed.
