Bellevue Street to close for sewer repairs in Marietta
A section of Bellevue Street will be closed beginning today as crews conduct sanitary sewer repairs, according to a notice from the City of Marietta Water Reclamation Department.
Bellevue Street will be closed between Bartlett and Lancaster Street through April 14, or until the work is completed.
The project will involve maintenance, repair or replacement of the sanitary sewer system in the area. Officials said the work may require the use of heavy equipment and could impact nearby properties.
Work is scheduled to take place from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
City officials did not indicate a detour route but advised motorists to avoid the area during the closure period.
