WCCC Adult Technical Training staff member receives statewide honor

Washington County Career Center – Adult Technical Training announced that Wendy Ketelsen has been recognized with the Pam Decker Outstanding Service Award, a statewide honor presented annually to an outstanding financial aid administrator serving Ohio Technical Centers and Adult Career Centers.
The award was presented during the Ohio ACTE Postsecondary and Adult Career Education Conference in Dublin April 7-8.
The Pam Decker Outstanding Service Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to students and are highly respected by financial aid peers across Ohio’s career and technical education network.
“Wendy is a tireless advocate for adult students in our region who are in search of career training opportunities,” said Evan Schaad, director of Adult Technical Training. “Her commitment to providing quality service to students at Washington County Career Center – Adult Technical Training is an asset for our local, regional and statewide workforce, as well as our broader community.
“Ketelsen plays an important role in helping students navigate financial aid opportunities and access the training needed to build successful careers.”
