The community gathered to celebrate Marietta City School District’s 26th annual Fine Arts Festival Thursday night. The art show was held in the Sutton Gymnasium and featured a plethora of artwork that highlighted the students’ artistic talent and creativity, according to a release from the district.

From kindergarten to high school seniors, artwork of all different styles and techniques filled the room and lined the walls.

The student artwork included paintings, prints, sculptures, mixed-media and more. Marietta Elementary School art teacher Megan Lankford helped guide the students as they worked on their projects.

Marietta High School art teacher Heath Radar assisted with the upper-grades and their projects.

Marietta High School student musicians performed at the event and included chorus, ensembles and soloists directed by MHS Director of Bands Eric Staats and MHS Director of Choir Scott Rieder.
