WATERTOWN TOWNSHIP — A Belpre man was killed Monday morning in a two-vehicle crash on Ohio 339 near Plum Run Road, according to the Marietta Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

The crash was reported at about 9:46 a.m. June 29. The patrol said Wyatt W. Jarvis, 20, of Belpre, was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado northbound when he crossed the centerline and struck a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado head-on.

The second vehicle was driven by Steven Neill, 73, of Waterford. Neill suffered serious injuries and was taken by MedFlight to Grant Medical Center in Columbus.

Jarvis was pronounced dead at the scene, the patrol said.

Responding agencies included the Ohio State Highway Patrol, B&W Volunteer Fire Department, Watertown Volunteer Fire Department, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, Ohio Department of Transportation and PCS Towing.

The crash remains under investigation.
