Marietta City Schools Board of Education to have special meeting Thursday

The Marietta City Schools Board of Education is scheduled to meet for a special board meeting at 6 p.m. on July 30. The meeting will be held at 111 Academy Drive.

The board is meeting for a working session to discuss district goals, priorities, and expectations as well as board operations. Following the session will be an executive session to discuss complaints against a district employee. According to district Treasurer Frank Antill, there will be action taken during the meeting to hire personnel for the upcoming school year.
