PARKERSBURG – “Tastes and Tunes is one of those special nights where everything comes together, great music, delicious food, friends, family and supporters who believe in the power of the arts,” Jessie Siefert, managing director of the Parkersburg Art Center, said. “It’s a chance to kick back and enjoy a summer evening under the Edison lights on Market, all while helping us keep art and art education for all accessible and thriving in our region.”

Originally planned for outside on Market Street, the event was moved into the Art Center where the main meal was in the ballroom.

Appetizers and a bar were set up on the first floor and the band played from the Whitlatch gallery. Maggie Moo’s ice cream truck set up right outside the front doors.

The event was catered by Valley Catering. The Sour Mash String Band performed.

Sponsors included title sponsor, Mary Riccobene, Jan Dils Attorneys at Law, Hughes Properties, WVU Medicine Camden Clark Medical Center, Waters Fanta Insurance, Premier Productions Entertainment, United Bank, West Virginia Wine and Beverage Merchants, iHeart Media, Maggie Moos Creamery, Wine Down on Market, Dan Marshall and Holl’s Chocolates.
