PARKERSBURG -- Local nature photographer Danny Carpenter is the featured artist this month at WesBanco at 415 Market St.
Carpenter stepped in after a family emergency prevented the artist originally scheduled for August from exhibiting. His display features previously exhibited wildlife photographs and new selections from Carpenter's collection.
"I wanted to feature some that I have had in my archives to select a few of my favorites," Carpenter said.
Carpenter is best known locally for his wildlife photography. His interests also include sports, landscapes, auto racing and other outdoor subjects.
Carpenter also mentors young photographers interested in nature photography. Several photographers he has mentored have previously exhibited their work at the bank.
The Market Street branch also has several of Carpenter's photographs on permanent display in its lobby.
The Danny Carpenter Nature Photography Exhibit is open during regular business hours at the branch from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday.
