PARKERSBURG – Cindy Turner has been appointed the new chief executive officer of West Virginia Central Federal Credit Union, by the credit union's board of directors. Turner has been senior vice president since 2003 and has been with the credit union since 1995.

“As the new CEO of West Virginia Central Credit Federal Union, I want to assure our members that there will be no significant changes in how we operate,” Turner said.

Turner said the credit union's commitment to world-class member service will remain the top priority, and they will continue supporting the local community.

“The board didn’t need to look outside the credit union for qualified candidates,” said Doug Reeder, chairman of the credit union’s board of directors. “Cindy brings her own unique skills, outlook and experience to the position.”

As CEO, she will oversee the financial institution’s strategic goals, member advocacy, long-term growth initiatives and be the board liaison to the credit union.
