2026 Washington County Fair Livestock Sale Results

The Washington County Livestock Sale was held Tuesday, Sept. 8, at the Washington County Fair. The sale raised a total of $592,100. It was the first year the Farm 2 Table program participated in the sale. 22 animals were donated to the program to benefit local food pantries.

This included five hogs, 11 lambs and six steers.

The 2026 Washington County Fair Livestock Sale results are as follows:

Turkeys

* 24 market turkeys averaged $736.

* Premier Exhibitor & Grand Champion Market Turkey - Zoey Hindel was purchased by Leslie Equipment Co. for $2,000.

* Reserve Champion Market Turkey - Ashley Morris was purchased by First Quality Collision Center for $1,100.

Lambs

* 72 market lambs averaged $1,705.

* Premier Exhibitor & Reserve Champion Market Lamb - Jaxson Schott was purchased by Beverly Feed & Equipment for $3,000.

* Grand Champion Market Lamb - Brady Barth was purchased by Integrity Oil Field Services for $4,100.

Goats

* 60 market goats averaged $1,100.

* Premier Exhibitor Market Goat - Adalyn Seaman was purchased by McKee Paving for $1,400.

* Grand Champion Market Goat - Alyssa Biehl was purchased by Lashley Tractor Sales for $1,700.

* Reserve Champion Market Goat - Colten Work was purchased by Antill's Enterprises for $1,800.

Chickens

* 76 pens of market chickens averaged $593.

* Premier Exhibitor Market Chickens - Zoey Hindel was purchased by McKee Paving, Peoples Bank, Edgell-Jackson Trucking, Mark Porter Ford and Jay Edwards for State Treasurer for $1,250.

* Grand Champion Market Chickens - Kayla Schwendeman was purchased by Mark Porter Ford and McKee Paving for $750.

* Reserve Champion Market Chickens - Khloie Barth was purchased by Lowell Moose Lodge 2382, Mark Porter Ford and Peoples Bank for $800.

Dairy Feeder Steers

* 30 market dairy feeder calves averaged $2,006.

* Premier Exhibitor & Grand Champion Market Dairy Feeder Steer - Lexie Handschumacher was purchased by Biehl Farms for $4,500.

* Reserve Champion Market Dairy Feeder Steer - Logan Moore was purchased by Hall Financial Advisors for $3,500.

Rabbits

* 114 pens of market rabbits averaged $567.

* Premier Exhibitor Market Rabbits - Paige Cole was purchased by McKee Paving, Mark Porter Ford and R C & Son Construction for $800.

* Grand Champion Market Rabbits - Kaylen Heiney was purchased by Perkins Supply for $1,700.

* Reserve Champion Market Rabbits - Brenna Cole was purchased by Hall Financial Advisors for $900.

Market Steers

* 39 market steers averaged $4,542.

* Premier Exhibitor & Grand Champion Market Steer - Alayna Biehl was purchased by Kimble Company for $8,500.

* Reserve Champion Market Steer - Alyssa Biehl was purchased by Dr. Kelli Cawley, Law Office of Gene Hollins and Cawley Hospice for $6,400.
