Hollister appointed to WSCO board

Nancy P. Hollister, a former governor and mayor of Marietta, was appointed to the Washington State College of Ohio’s Board of Trustees by Gov. Mike DeWine.

MARIETTA - A former governor and mayor of Marietta has been named to the Washington State College of Ohio's Board of Trustees.

Nancy P. Hollister was appointed by Gov. Mike DeWine and installed at the September meeting of the Board of Trustees.

“Nancy has spent decades serving this community and advocating for the people of Appalachian Ohio," Sarah Parker, president of the college, said.. "Her understanding of our region, its workforce and the opportunities education can create will bring an important perspective to our Board of Trustees."

The board is comprised of residents from Washington and Morgan counties. Board members include Chair Jodey L. Altier, Vice Chair,Joseph Zacharias, Bernie Anderson, Randall T. Barengo, Christy Chavez, Cinda Erickson, David E. Vandenberg and Tyler Wilcox.
