The Washington County Career Center announces its Students Solving Problems (SSP) members for the 2026-27 school year. The purpose of SSP is to engage area students in developing solutions to community health related problems and to provide career development for the engaged youth in the fields of health, behavioral health, philanthropy and other community support options. The students are to lead the work and identify the issues that they intend to address. The adviser, Shari Elfline, along with other adults, are to support the students during the process.
The Career Center's SSP Mission Statement: When schools come together to lead the county as one, the possibilities are endless. Together we can encourage and influence the youth of Washington County.
