The regular monthly meeting of the Belpre City school district will be held at 5 p.m. Monday at the Stone Administration/Early Learning Center. There is a time for public participation during the meeting as indicated in the agenda.

The February regular meeting for the Frontier Local Schools Board of Education is scheduled for Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the Frontier High/Middle School media center.

The Marietta Natural History Society will host Wood County Administrator Marty Seufer Thursday at 7 p.m. in room 150 of the Rickey Science Center on the Marietta College Campus. He will discuss Bee City USA, adopted by the City of Williamstown: a nationwide program that promotes and educates the public on the importance of pollinators. The next presentation will be Katie Fallon discussing vultures March 19 at 7 p.m. in the same location.

The Western Washington County Food Pantry thrift store on High Street in Vincent will hold a $2-a-bag sale now through Feb. 27. Hours are Monday and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m. Summer clothes will be ready April 6.

The next Washington County Family & Children First Council meeting will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Washington County E.O.C. office, 204 Davis Ave., Suite C.

The Brigade of the American Revolution School of Instruction will be held at the Campus Martius Museum Feb. 29. The program is a nonprofit living history association dedicated to recreating the life and times of the common soldier of the American War for Independence, 1775-1783. Speakers begin at 10 a.m. The cost is regular museum admission.
